And its time for another try......

Hey all,

So its been a long time AGAIN, since I last posted. I'm going to try to post more often. I've said that before, several times and it never happens. I think I've promised my journal the same thing and I can't commit. Poor Journal.
Anyways, so here is a quick update of the past year. Daryl killed his Elk, I am pregnant, we bought a new house, and now I'm three weeks away from popping. :) See there is all that you need to know. Okay I'll add in a few details.
So Daryl did get to go on his hunt and after about five days, he killed an elk! It was a very exciting day for him. He called me from the mountain to tell me he had bagged one and then went on butt dialing me for the next half hour while he was cutting up the big bugger. I found it entertaining cuz I could hear him sawing and swearing. Tonz of fun. :)
Adding to this, in October of last year I discovered I was pregnant. Yes after five years of marriage, and finally finishing school, we figured it was time we joined the world of parenthood. Of course Daryl claims that I got him drunk and took advantage of him, but he is ecstatic to be welcoming a son in June. We've already decided to name him Hunter Jason Wenzl. Hunter, because that is a name Daryl always wanted to name his first son, Jason is after a really good friend of Daryl's that was killed in a car wreck two years ago, and Wenzl cuz I couldn't get Daryl to take my last name. :) So needless to say I'm excited and terrified at the same time. Why terrified you ask? THINK ABOUT IT! Me a parent! Are you crazy! This poor kid is going to be crazy just because of the genes we've passed onto him. :) But it should be fun right?
And finally we did the crazy thing and purchased a house. Yes, we moved from our condo, which I loved but was becoming to small, and we moved into a five bedroom house in Layton. We went a little farther north then originally planned, but I'm happy that we did. Daryl is already planning several projects that he needs to do and I'm just planning on taking care of my little guy when he arrives. So all in all we are having another eventful year, like last year, only a different set of circumstances. Should be fun and I'm hoping that I'll post more often. Now that we have a little guy coming into our family, I'm sure his grandparents in Kansas are going to want to get regular updates about him. So lets keep our fingers crossed that its not another year.

TOODLES!!!
